Welcome to Natural Treatment Tips

This is a case in which there is a constant smell produced in the body due to the growth of bacteria that can live, reproduce, multiply and grow extensively on the surface of the body. Hence they produce the odor. This is often abbreviated as B.O. and the technical name given to this body odor is the osmidrosis. It is also referred to as the ozochrotia. The term used to refer this body odor is the bromidrosis or the fetid sweat or the malodorous sweating.

The bacteria which grow on the surface of the body rapidly multiply in the presence of sweat. However the sweat is odorless and has no specific reasons for the growth of bacteria. The smell from the body is associated with many organs present in the body such as the

  • Pubic hairs
  • Anus
  • Genital organs
  • Belly button
  • Ears
  • Feet
  • Skin
  • Hair
  • Feet and
  • Arm Pits

The odor of the body can be pleasant for the individual. However this is practiced more in common by the animals than the humans. The main component of the sweat is the propionic acid which is present in many samples of the sweat. The body odor of the individual is influenced greatly by many of the facts such as

  • Gender
  • Genetics
  • Medications
  • Health and
  • Diet

The propionic acid which is present in many of the sweat samples are often broken down products from the most of the amino acids by the propionibacteria. This bacterium thrives in the sweat gland ducts of most of the adult and adolescence sebaceous glands. This is because of the reason that propionic acid has physical characteristics such as the odor of the body similar to the acetic acid. The smell from certain persons is usually identified as that from vinegar by certain people.

Isovaleric acid is the other component which is present in the sweat is the isovaleric acid which is produced as a result of the action of the bacteria staphylococcus epidermidis.

The molecules of Major Histocompatibilty Complex (MHC) influence the smell or the odor from the body. These factors are often determined genetically and they influence the immunity of the organism. These Major Histocompatibilty Complex molecules have greater influence on the action of vomeronasal organ which are sensitive to the MHC molecules in a specific way which is determined genotypically. A survey and experiment was conducted on the potential attraction between sexual partners and the results proved that the sexual partners have strong attraction if they have potentially different composition of MHC molecules.
