What are Menstrual Problems?

There are various kinds of menstrual problems that women experience due to the hormonal and internal changes that body undergoes during the menstrual cycle. Menstruation has also been referred to as menses, which is defined as the monthly discharge of the internal lining of the uterus that begins in most women during adolescence. One of the problems here of menopause, which has been described as time period during which women experience the permanent cessation of menstruation or the end of their monthly periods. During this phase, women undergo various physical changes. Other common problems here include pain in the stomach, bloating, eruptions on the face and other related symptoms.

Usually the causes of menstrual problems are the affected regions of the body like thyroid, gonads, endocrine glands, and pituitary glands. Other physical symptoms which affect menstrual problems include frequent fever, autoimmune disorder, chromosomal irregularity, previous sessions of radiation therapy and chemotherapy, heredity diseases, etc. There are some women who experience severe pains during these times, there are also women who have irregular cycles and suffer from heavy or very light flow during these times.

Symptoms of Menstrual Problems:
Most women go through similar symptoms experienced during menopause, which include headache, palpitation, lack of interest in sex, night sweats, hot flushes, dizziness, tension, irritability, insomnia, numbness, depression and other related symptoms. Due to reduction in the amount of female hormones in the body, there are also hormonal changes, vaginal dryness and risk of osteoporosis. Some women experience radical mood swings and emotional changes during menstrual cycles and they often have very intense high and low moods during this period.

  • Crush ginger, boil in water and have 3 times daily.
  • Drink boiled ½ liter water with 6 gm coriander.
  • Take 1 teaspoon extract of Marigold.
  • Drink hot water containing ½ teaspoon of sesame and have twice daily.
  • Have unripe papaya.
